In Touch magazine...? I was wondering who the Hottest woman is on the 8/08 In touch magazine... The one with the 69 sexiest bodies at the beach. In my opinion, she was not "hitting" she spanked the child on the rear end. That's what's wrong with the world today. Punish your child and be posted on the front page of a magazine portrayed as an animal.
Honestly I praise the woman for doing what we no longer can do which is disciplining a child.

anyway if i had a child and he/she did something bad i would punish them. Punishment can be anything from "go to your room, you're grounded" to a slap on the hand (not a hard one) or spanking on the bottom.
I agree though, people are scared of punishing their kids. People blame other things for their kids misbehaviour or craziness. Like movies, games, music and such. There is nothing wrong with spanking or slap on the hand. But no people think the child is gonna be scared for life... idiots."

Kellee replied: "Honestly, I'm no longer a huge fan of Jon and Kate Plus 8. It's hard to watch it with all the media going around about Jon cheating and Kate "turning into a monster". It makes me mad.
I agree with you on the fact that media over does everything, especially when it comes to kids and punishments. I've never seen Kate (or thought of her to be one who would) spank one of her children, but if it needed to be done, then so be it.

She has all of this anger pent up inside of her, and takes it out on her kids. How come when the kids used to do the same exact thing, she would'nt spank them? She has all of this anger, and should not be letting it out on her kids. Jon is having problems too and he doesn't beat his kids. Heck, he gets enough beatings from his wife!

It doesn't bother me that she spanked one of the tiwns at all. I have spanked all of mine and I'm a single mom of multiples myself. I was spanked as a child, so was my brother. We're not abusive to our children and I can't forsee my children being abusive to their children in the future.
The ONLY reason this made headlines is b/c of who Jon and Kate are. And I also agree that more and more these days, parental rights are being slowly taken away. Yet we're being told by every possible *expert* that spanking is wrong. Nooo, medicating children that do not need to be medicated is wrong. A good slap on the backside isn't going to scar a child for life and turn them into a monster."
